Fishing
The waters around
Grand Cayman offer many types of fishing. Sunny Caribbean days,
top quality vessels and captains who know where to find the
biggest catch make fishing in Cayman a rewarding experience.
Charters include crew, gear, tackle, and ice. Facilities include
restrooms and partial shade. Please make arrangements for food
and drink with your Sales Manager. Transfers are not included.
Although all fish caught belong to the captain, catch and
release is the preferred method of fishing. Mounting is
available upon request if it is the angler's first Marlin.
Reef Fishing
Spend the morning trolling and drifting around the
shallow barrier reef in the North Sound. Some anchoring is
required, and light spin-casting tackle with an average 200 lb.
test line is used. Try your hand at catching snapper, grouper,
porgy, ocean trigger, jack, and barracuda. Fish sizes range from
1 lb to 20 lbs.
Bone Fishing
Drift lazily through the renowned mud flats of the North
Sound, with ultra light spin casting rods and reels with
lead-headed feather jigs. Swirls of mud indicate feeding fish in
water as shallow as six feet. Fish size range from 1 lb to 9
lbs, and all fish are released.
Tarpon Fishing
Exciting fish stories are the order of the day when
tarpon fishing. Reef fish caught on the way to the tarpon's
favored hiding spots are used to chum and scent the waters of
the North Sound. Tarpon as large as 75 lbs are caught while
anchored in shallow water close to shore using spin-casting rods
and reels with a 20 lb test line. All catches are released.

Deep Sea Fishing

pleased with the beautiful waters around Grand Cayman. Boats go
no further than 12 miles offshore and lines are in the water 20
minutes after leaving the dock. The warm Caribbean waters
present favorable fishing conditions year-round. Fish caught
include Blue Marlin, Yellow fin Tuna, Dolphin fish (not the
mammal) and Wahoo. All catches are released at the Captain's
discretion.
